Grapefruit Crane Jasmine Beach Soap

Grapefruit Crane Jasmine Beach is inspired by one of my favourite beaches and places in the world. Crane beach, in Barbados with it’s fine white powdery sand with pink speckles. Amidst the backdrop of the turquoise caribbean sea that meets the tides of the dramatic atlantic ocean at it’s most wild nature and azure turquoise hues. The fragrance of the air is filled with refreshing sea salt and the inviting balmy sweetness and humidity in the air. The grapefruit was believed to be discovered in Barbados and is a hybrid between a sweet orange and a shaddock aka a pomelo. First known as the forbidden fruit it is said: Welshman Griffith Hughes first documented the fruit in Barbados in his book the natural history of Barbados. Being of Welsh and Barbadian descent I desired to capture the fresh, salty sweet breeze, with the pink himalyan rock salt that represents the speckles in the white sand. Grapefruit is blended with notes of wood and Jasmine to create a scent that takes you away..
